do tell, do tell.

Happy Sunday, sweet friends.  Better yet, happy nap time.... that's what's going on at my little casa right now anyway.  Funny how nap time is the the grown up version of recess.  You look forward to it all day.
Anyway, I digress............I must say that I'm really enjoying a completely quiet, rainy day at home while catching up on some blog reading....all while sipping on a cup of coffee {that I've reheated three times now}, burning a new, crazy yummy candle and again, I repeat....all while it is perfectly quiet and peaceful.  I envision heaven to be a lot like this.  I kid --- heaven will be about 8 million times better.  So, I forced the hubs to go do something fun and have some alone time (we all need it).  He's golfing, J's napping and I'm sitting here in my pajamas still at 1 p.m. just as happy as a lark.  Side note:  what an odd saying?  What is a lark?  I just went with it.  Okay, okay... you get it.  It's quiet and peaceful here and I'm a happy little momma.

But I have a question for you.  As in I need your input....like fo' real.  How do you read blogs?  As in what platform, app, whatever do you use?

Do you read them via your blogger account feed?  Bloglovin' [which I just now signed-up for to try out]?  Do you just have your faves bookmarked and visit them daily or when you can?  Do you blog and have a list of "favorite reads" on your side menu and those are the only ones (more or less) that you keep up with?  Do tell!!!  I currently fall into that last category of mostly only reading my favorites that are listed on my side menu.  But I know there has to be a better way!  So come on, even if you've never ever said "hello" before, I'm all ears and would love to hear your recommendations!

Happy day, girls [and my brother].

I use google reader! So easy to use- especially since I can read from my phone while nursing the babe (that's about the only time I get my blog reading done :))

I use Google Reader, with mixed results. Google imported google friend connect blogs a long time ago... and now the app that you manage those blogs with is defunct and it doesn't appear that it'll let you remove them. So... my google feed has old expired blogs and random new blogs in it that I can't remove. I'm not even sure if that makes sense.

Other than that.... I really like it.

I scroll through my "Reading List" and click on the blog posts I want to read. No one else probably does that though. I don't like google reader because I follow too many blogs that I don't read daily so it takes forever to get through them all. Let me know what you end up doing!

I used to have a list of blogs on my sidebar, but now I just use the blogger feed on my blogger main page.

I also read them through Google Reader and love it! It's so easy on my phone/iPad to pull up everything at once. I have it set to show me my list of blogs that have new posts all together so I can easily read the ones I'd like to at that time.

I just use my blogger site. Any blogs I have followed update on the main page...if its one of my favs or catches my attention while scrolling through, I visit! But most of the time its just th same 3-4 blogs I usually take the time to read. Sounds like I need to do a little blogger spring cleaning :)

I use google reader you subscribe to the ones you like and it can sync with your blogger blogs and when a new post is posted it will show up in your google reader

I just stumbled across your blog - I'm a mama of a 9 month old baby girl.. and I'm excited to follow along with your little family. :)

Google reader and Flipboard. I even have my web browser set up with the next button for Google Reader. Changed my life. It takes you to the actual blog so you can leave comments and things, and then you hit the next button and it takes you to the next unread blog in your reader. Email me if you have any questions or want to know more! jenanay126 at gmail dot com.

I scroll my blog feeder. Apparently I need to try this Google reader business... Sounds a bit more efficient.
P.S. I counted down the hours until 3 p.m. nap time. :)

I just have mine bookmarked and go through them most days, I'm not fancy or use any programs, but would be nice to make it easier to look through them

I use the Google ready for my phone and my Kindle... I have the "NEXT" button on my laptop. LOVE the next button! My favorite is when you've read all the blogs in your reader, you get a message that says, "Congratulations, you've reached the end of the internet." Sweet!

Google reader, but then again there is something nostalgic for me about just clicking through my favorite links and going directly to their page...you know, the old fashioned way. :)

On another note, I hear you on naptimes. With two littles now (3 and 15 months) especially since the youngest has NEVER napped regularly it is a rare occurence to have a quiet home and I could practically cry when it happnes. Have a great week!

I use my blogger feed mixed with bloglovin'. I think it's easiest this way but would love to know what you end up trying :)

Oh and your morning sounds divine...right up my alley!

I read through blogger. I have my favorites that I read first, then I go from there to read the rest. Also depends on how much time I have that day... :)

I read through blogger. It's the easiest for me, and all the pictures and full fonts come through. When you read via Google Reader the fonts, pictures, and graphics don't always load like they do when you just go the site. I gotta get the full effect! :)
