{love it}

I've done a few Valentines projects around our little casa, so I thought I'd go ahead and join Mandy & AP's (and many other fabulous bloggers) "Love It" link-up party!  There have been a lot of super cute & creative things shared already --- definitely want to check it out if you're wanting to make something for V-day!

After deciding I wasn't fully, 100% in love with the "all you need is love cupcakes" digital chalkboard design I made a few weeks ago, we copied Rhonna Farrer's gorgeous design onto our chalkboard this week.  I LOVE IT.  Our "song" is Always & Forever by Cory Morrow, which was played at our wedding and we have "always & forever" engraved on our wedding bands.  :)
As for how the design was put on a chalkboard?  Via a good ol' fashion transparency and overhead projector!  That's how we roll. ;)

Here's another DIY project that I did {inspiration from this embroidery hoop wreath I saw on Pinterest.....details and "how to" steps found here}!  I deviated from that a little because I wanted to add some color and thought mine needed a bow!  I actually made it back in October to kick-off all things fall.... then it was orange!  I decided I needed more pink in my life, so I bought some more burlap, painted it pink and added a laminated "W" that I covered in glitter (just had a large "W" printed on 11x14 paper and laminated at Office Depot for like $1 --- then I cut out the W, covered it in glue and then in glitter - and BAM!).  My mother-in-law made the gorgeous gold-glittered bow for me!

Call me crazy, but I think this would be a really cute door decoration for the arrival of a new baby?  I have baby showers on my mind I guess --- but wouldn't it be cute to have it on the door at a friend's baby shower and then take it to the hospital when the babe is born?  Or do I think this is cuter than it truly is?!  Ha - maybe I'm getting carried away here with ideas.
Hope you enjoyed a few of the V-day projects I've been up to as late.  There are a ton of other great ideas shared via the link-up.....  which is just what I need... another source for cute projects that I think I need to tackle! Ha!

HAPPY WEEKEND, friends.  Dear sweet, precious, beloved WEEKEND - I'm glad to see your face!

So cute! You could make that loop for so many occasions and seasons. The red would be really cute at Christmas instead of a wreath. It reminds me of an ornament ball.

Can I ask of y'all actually own the overhead projector or if you borrow it? Because if you own it, well... ;)

I thought it was an ornament at first too! A super cute one though! These would do well on Etsy ;o)
