my best girl.

If we're Facebook friends or you follow me on Instagram, you're likely already aware that we had to say goodbye to our precious, ornery, loving, never more than a foot away from me, 8 1/2 year-old English Bulldogger baby this past Friday.  Seeing as how she's been a staple on this blog since it began back in 2008 and along with our lab Hanna, prepared us to some degree for parenthood, it was a must that I include far too many photos recapping the awesome life of our sweet ever-lovin'-bulldogger, Rose.  I miss her like crazy and my house feels far too quiet.  I'm used to having an additional side-kick right at my feet at all times.  

And I have to say that I have been overwhelmed by all of the comments, texts, emails and messages .... it's awesome to know that we're loved, but more than that, it's really amazing to see how many people fell in love with our girl, too.  She was special and had a sassy little attitude all her own.

We had to say goodbye to our baby girl, Rose, today.  She has been such a JOY for the past 8 1/2 years.....how lucky we are to have had so many FUN-filled years with her!!!  She surprised us and decided she'd love Jackson fiercely when he came along as opposed to being jealous that another babe was taking over.  She was my best friend on my worst day.  We'll miss her like crazy, but are so glad we spoiled her every day of her life! :)  A big thanks and hugs to those of you who loved her along with us!
