--[Rewind to last week]--
I'd planned a sweet little craft for Jackson so he could send his grandparents their first ever hand-made Valentine from him {see, totally in the running for mom of the year at this point}. Fast forward to VALENTINE'S DAY and I'd yet to get the hand-made card and some chocolate in the mail. Fail. This is the story of my life as I loathe the post office and avoid it at all costs.
Anyway, I'd mentioned to my parents several days before that Jackson was sending them a treat and to expect if by V-day. So, I thought I'd text them a cute photo of him making their V-day card several weeks ago and let them know that per my usual, I'd avoided the post office, but it would be there in a few days.
Here's the text I sent... along with a photo of him "painting" their card. Sweet, right?
And then there's my dad's response. Did you read it? Huh? What is he talking about?
"Can your boy read the sign behind him?" I totally didn't get it.
Not until I went back and did a double take of the photo I'd just sent them. For a brief moment, I was mortified. I repeat, mortified! And then immediately called my husband laughing hysterically while reminding him that I knew he shouldn't have added the whole "eff cancer" part to our chalkboard. Gahhhhhhhh.
And then I sent this text back to my parents...........
So, lesson learned.
Maybe it's a bad idea to have the word "efff" on anything in your home. No matter if you're
in the process of raising babies or otherwise. Just smart to avoid it, I'd say.
Secondly, EFFF CANCER!
