ramblings + king of hearts

Mind if I ramble / catch-up / rant about a few things today?  I have some sweet photos of the mini to share that will hopefully make up for my lack of being able to share one single, cohesive thought. ;)

Let's start with this, if only to get it out of the way!  I loathe teething something fierce. My poor mini has FOUR teeth coming in at the same time, which in my humble opinion, should be illegal.   I've tried almost everything, but if you have any suggestions, I'M ALL EARS!    Moving on to less painful things..... let's catch up!

I met Meredith and Katie for dinner on Monday to discuss our upcoming trip to Blissdom {a blog conference in Dallas in March} "Mommy Spring Break 2013".  These girls are precious and I know we're going to have so much fun!!  We ironed out a few details, such as who had the most accomodating minivan mom-mobile, thus would be the driver and exchanged some gifts.  I had an extra bottle of dry shampoo magic for Meredith and she gave me the cutest dang t-shirt that I've ever laid eyes on!!  Thank you, sweet friend!

We had an impromptu front porch family photo shoot before going to lunch on Sunday.  Here lately I've felt like I only take quick iPhone photos of Jackson, so I'm trying to be more intentional about making sure Cason and I are actually in some photos.   All in hopes that Jackson won't look back at his scrapbooks and think he was raised by Hanna & Rose (the pups).

Our friends, Lauren & Elise, came over last week for a play date.  We all wore Valentine jammies and ate donuts {best get together evahhhh, right?}!  Elise was LOVING all of Jackson's toys.... you can certainly tell that little girls are a lot more dainty and careful than rambunctious toddler boys!  Ha!! 

I'm convinced that I need this blazer.  Agree?  Of course, now I can't find it on the J Crew website.  Not cool, J Crew, not cool!!!  Or did my husband pay you to remove it?

Although he's teething like mad, J still knows how to smile for the camera.  Told you - KING OF MY HEART!!!  Can I just bottle him up and keep him this way forever [minus the teething days, because I get to choose and all, right?].  I love this perfect, just a tad ornery babe like no other.

There's more to fill you in on, but there's also a sweet, yet fussy mini that wants to be held, laundry to be folded and dinner to be planned.  ;)  Hope you're all having an awesome, teething-free week! Ha!
