As per my usual, I've taken way too many photos... and I couldn't help but look back at my two loves on St. Patrick's Day last year to see how much Jackson has changed. I'll be the first to admit that I am a lucky, lucky girl because these two cuties are all mine. Side note: pretty sure I should start referring to myself as something a little more age appropriate than "girl" seeing as how I just turned 30...... but, no thank you.
These two......they melt my heart and make me smile.
Here are my three favorite guys climbing up a huge inflatable bouncey slide at the super fun birthday party we went to on Saturday.... Jackson's in front, leading the way (you just can't see him - ha). Pretty sure no one was expecting two grown men to be climbing on this thing! Oh, the things you do for fun when you have a toddler! :)
This is my brother and Jackson's "Uncle B". And one ridiculously awesome green mustache. All of the other kids J's age had batman, rainbows or clovers painted on their faces. Not J.... his parents requested a green mustache.
And what do we get in return for thinking we were so cute and clever? A very faint, light green mustache that refuses to come off after two baths and serious scrubbing with a washcloth. How awesome is that?
Have you ever seen a thug-life ganster Irishman mini? I hadn't either. You're welcome. Our lucky Labrador love......
I know that St. Patrick's Day is about holiday fun, parades, all things green and celebrating. But it's about luck and blessings, too. And with that, I encourage you to take a moment today and do what I just did.... look around at YOUR crazy mess. If it looks anything like mine, it's chaotic, yet so routine and full of the sounds of laughter, the flipping pages of Dr. Seuss books along with the occasional high pitched demand from your mini for more "nacks" (snacks)!!
So, really.....just stop.... and look around and listen for a minute.
I'm guessing that you will have no choice but to SMILE, take it all in and appreciate just how truly LUCKY and BLESSED you are.
Happy St. Patrick's Day, sweet friends! xo!
Oh, and because I know everyone is making a mass exodus from Google Reader, I thought I'd share some quick links to easily follow this little blog through bloglovin' or feedly [I've been using feedly and am really happy with it so far!].

So cute! Where did you get the mat he is eating off of?? Looks like it catches all the food, which we need!
