I did, however, finish bedazzling our little casa with Easter and spring goodness over the weekend, so I thought I'd share some photos today. Here's a look back at how I decorated for Easter / Easter brunch last year. I don't know that I'll be able to top that, but we'll see. My sweet and hilarious friends, Mandy at House of Rose and AP at I Love You More Than Carrots are hosting a "Hop to It" link party so I'm joining in on the fun this morning there as well as linking up with Taryn at Design, Dining + Diapers for their Inspiration Gallery Link-up! And seriously - it's worth your time to check out these link-ups... I'm baffled by all of the creative and inspiring ideas. Like, whoa.
And here's our fireplace / mantel with a little Easter love. The cute chalkboard platter you see there is new! I found an old, silver platter at the Salvation Army for $3, spray painted it, added chalkboard paint and then traced the "He is Risen" design that I found online from Little Baby Garvin's Etsy shop!
Some fresh flowers and Easter treats in the kitchen....
In case you missed it, I shared all the fun from the "1st Annual White House Easter Brunch" {ha!!} here. I fell in love with this adorable vintage bunny and brunch invitation by the fabulous designer, Loralee Lewis. I modified it just a tad and put this beauty on the chalkboard. I think it's my very favorite chalkboard design yet. *Note: she also offers a free printable for "bunny brownies" with this precious design.
Well, there you have it! Please excuse the less than stellar photos - I'm obviously no photographer! But, as you can see....the casa is ready as ready as it's going to get for Easter! We've been loving this awesome spring weather and Jackson is absolutely rocking Egg Hunt Training Camp.....I wish spring would last forever!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend - ours was full and so much fun!

Everything looks absolutely amazing as usual! I love your holiday decor posts! I might as well just have you drive up the beltway and help me out ... our house is pathetic haha
Your decorations are oh so cute!!
So cute! Love your mantle.
Such cute decorations!!
I'm still working on my Easter basket. I keep finding things that *need* to be added. :)
Your house looks beautiful, as always! Every time you share pictures of your house and decorations I marvel at your talent and eye for beautiful things! I love all the sweet personalized touches you have in your home. And I really want a jar of gumballs - it's just so fun!
I'm pretty proud of myself - I think I have everything for Blaire's basket already. Maybe I'll put it all together soon and snap a few pictures. But I'd have to take it apart and stash the goodies again before Easter as I have no place to hide a completed basket. (Have I mentioned how ready I am to sell this place. We are out of space!)
I die over your cute chalkboard creations each and every time! So so cute.

I'm tossing in the garland & chalk, there is no way I could make a cuter chalk board & sweet little touches that would come close to yours. Super cute! & now I want a gum ball
Looks really, really beautiful. It's not very Christian of me to covet-- but I sure do wish my casa looked like your casa for Spring!
I love your decorations! The jar with Peeps and orange candies is especially cute and festive! I think I'm going to go get some peeps so I can make one of my own!
