Let's talk Valentine's Day...

Because I know that's what you wanted to "talk" about today, right?  ;)  As of yesterday, Valentine's Day is less than a month away.  To most, I realize that seems like a long ways away... however, life is crazy busy and I know we'll blink and February 14th will be upon us.  And if I don't plan ahead now, the mini will be that kid at school whose momma didn't love him enough to send him with some sort of Valentine's treats for his buddies.  Side note:  I swear to you, there will come a day that I will buy the dorkiest boxed Valentine cards known to man and call it a day --- just watch me.  This isn't the year though.  Maybe if / when we have two minis in tow and I throw in the towel and forgo all of this nonsense.  Until then, I'll keep up the holiday hysterics, because I really and truly do love it.

Okay, so real fast, before I jump into sharing plans for Jackson's Valentine's this year {because do any of you really care a great deal about that}?  Lie and say you do.  Before all that, I have to share some photos from Valentine's past with the mini.  Time is just flying by.  Isn't he too much???????  Love him.

Now that you are in full-fledge cuteness overload, here are some of the ideas I have in mind for Jackson's Valentine's treats for his friends at Montessori school.  Last year I went with a robot theme, but this year I'm thinking dinosaurs "RAWR means I love you in dinosaur".... something along those lines [yes, it's cheesy - but he's 2.5 and it's Valentine's Day!].

I thought these fish crayons and mini coloring pages were pretty cute too --- not to mention I love the fact that all I have to do is order them and they come 100% ready to go.  Yes, please.

So, do tell, have you even thought of what you plan on sending your mini(s) to school with this year for Valentine's Day?

And lastly, because I'm apparently in the mood to bombard you with "all things Valentine's Day" in freaking January, here's the V-day pjs that are headed our way.  And I'll promise you this --- upon reading this (either today or tomorrow), my husband will instantly roll his eyes and die a little inside because I'm crazy and he totally knows I ordered him those pj pants with hearts on them.  He'll wear them - because he loves me and he's a good sport.  :)

Happy Wednesday, friends.  Is Valentine's even on your radar yet or am I holiday obsessed and need to stop it right this minute?

I'm a new follower and I love your blog. I think it's great that you are thinking out of the box for Valentine's Day cards for the kids.

High five! I'm already figuring things out for Vday myself - and picked up some sweetheart clothes for little butt! Love that your husband will wear those heart pants, haha! I hadn't even thought about sending Vday cards to school - oh man I will probably over-pinterest those to death (when she is in school, at least I have a year or two to be lazy).

He is seriously the CUTEST kid alive! And I had no idea he goes to a Montessori school, that's what I'm getting my degree in currently. You go, girl! Create those cute Valentines. :)

We are on the same wavelength, I have already purchased everything for both of my boys' Valentines. I figure might as well get those done and assembled so no "life interruptions" can get in the way of them making it to school on time!
